application  2012-2013
General instructions
  • Applications must be submitted online, and we will only consider complete submissions.
  • Fill in all fields in English.
  • Do not leave empty fields. If a field is not applicable to you, write "NA."
  • Gather all the information and documents you will need before you begin, as you must fill out the form in one session. (You can download a PDF version for use as you prepare).
  • You can only upload PDF files, so please scan/save all supporting documents and attachments as PDF files. You can use any PDF writer to do this, and if you do not have a PDF writer, we recommend the following free software: http://www.cutepdf.com/products/cutepdf/Writer.asp
  • Each file you upload can be no larger than 2MB.
  • We strongly recommend applying early. The system gets overloaded as the deadline nears, so you may experience technical difficulties during the last two weeks of April.
When you are ready to apply
Fill out all required fields of this electronic form, and make sure to click "submit application" when you reach the end. After you submit the application, a screen will appear with confirmation of the submission. You will also receive an e-mail with your application number. If you didn’t see the confirmation screen or receive an e-mail, your application was not received. Please resubmit your application or contact us at admission@kmifellows.org.

If your professors prefer to send your recommendation letter directly to us, please
  1. Apply without the letters. Write down the unique application number that was e-mailed to you immediately after you submitted your online application.
  2. Ask your professors to send the recommendation letter to admission@kmifellows.org.
  3. Instruct your professors to include your application number in the subject line of their e-mail.
