Ravit Nuriel

A second-year fellow (2010-12), Nuriel interned at the Ministry of Finance in the Risk Management Department of the Debt Management Unit. In her first year, Nuriel interned at the State Guarantees Department within the Accountant General's Office at the Ministry of Finance. Her research focused on expanding export credit insurance.

As a student in the Hebrew University's competitive Amirim Honors Program, Nuriel began her academic career in the field of sciences. She was a researcher at Dr. Eran Meshorer's chromatic and stem cell molecular research lab, which aimed to generate induced pluripotent stem cells from fibroblasts of patients with Huntington's disease and differentiate them into neurons.

During her rigorous studies, Nuriel worked to help families with financial difficulties improve their money management, quickly becoming a team leader in the effort.

In the military, Nuriel served in the education corps, educating soldiers about the heritage of the Israeli Defense Forces and preparing them for matriculation.

The recipient of a full scholarship and winner of the dean's prize for 2008, she holds a B.Sc. in biology and chemistry from the Hebrew University. Nuriel also holds an M.A. from the Hebrew University's prestigious program for financial economics.

Currently, Nuriel works at the Ministry of Finance as an insurance and risk management referent.
