Maya Haran Maya Haran

A 2011-12 fellow, Haran interned in the Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings Division in the Ministry of Finance.

Prior to joining the fellows program, Haran worked as a research assistant in the Public Sector Division of the Bank of Israel's research department. Her work included a discussion paper on the effects of government consumption on the current account. In addition, she participated in studies of the mandatory pension law and the performance of local governments, among other topics.

In the military, Haran served in an elite intelligence unit.

Graduating with honors in 2010, she holds a B.A in economics and business administration from the Hebrew University as well as an M.A. from the university's prestigious program for financial economics.

Currently, Haran works at the Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings Division in the Ministry of Finance as a pension referent.
